If you’re looking for authentic Caicos baking by an islander, then head to Liz Bakery and Foods situated in Five Cays, a 15 minute drive along Leeward Highway. The storefront bakery and convenience store which opened in 1996 offers loaves and rolls of white, whole wheat and raisin breads, as well as traditional Caicos favourites like bread pudding, Johnny cake, plantain bread. There are sweet treats like croissants, and cakes of many flavours including carrot, pineapple, cherry, apple, chocolate and coconut. In the café area, visitors can enjoy tasty island dishes like conch fritters, fried chicken, stew beef, and peas ‘n’ rice.

Liz’s Bakery is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily except Sunday. Take-out lunch is served daily.
